Last night, as we were driving to dinner in the 139 degree humid weather, the AC in my car died. I know, I know. I can hear you gasping because you understand my pain. Fortunately, it's not the fan that has quit working. The fan blows fine- just hot air which I am hoping means I just need more of whatever cooling agent they use in lieu of freon. There is just not much comfort in rolling down the windows to let your hair blow when it's 139 muggy degrees out.
While I was miserable, my biggest concern was for Ethan in the back seat. We weren't traveling to far, just a mile or so from the house, so though his cheeks were pink he survived.
Brian wanted to drop off the car at the Saturn dealership this morning AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If you don't know my husband well, you don't fully understand that he means BEFORE THEY OPEN HE WANTS TO BE IN LINE.
Well, it rained all night long and continued this morning. I, instead of straitening my hair, decided I would put it up and try to avoid the frizzies as much as possible. (And I also did this to save time getting ready.)
We were in the car by 8:00 this morning. Brian arrived first with my car and was informed they could see us next Monday. So, looks like we'll be down to one car for the rest of the week thru weekend because it's JUST. TOO. HOT. or it's raining and you can't roll down the windows.
If you know of anyone who might be able to lookat it before then- holla!

Oh man, that sucks. Nothing is worse than a non-air conditioned car in Oklahoma. Except maybe an non-air conditioned home!
