Look!

I love being a mom.

For reasons unknown to me, my son loves the show Reba. I generally watch reruns in the afternoon around this time. Today Ethan was standing at the back door jibber jabbering and something about push.

The opening credits to Reba start to play and he instantly turned and said, "LOOK! Beba!" During the theme song("Survivor"), photos of cast members scrolled on the screen. Ethan said, "Where er go?" As Reba's picture flashes by he said, "Dare she ids!"

He stood in awe looking at the tv with a huge grin on his face. As the song finishes, Reba sings, "I'm a survivor." And Ethan sang along, "VIVOR!"

He is beginning to talk more and more. Sometimes I am not sure whether others can understand him like I can but I think that's pretty normal for moms.

Now he is yelling at the dog to "HUSH!" "Hey, Gucky, YOU HUSH!" I guess we tell Lucky to hush entirely too often.
