POUND CAKE!

Last night I made the pound cake I talked about earlier this week. I decided to make it in two loaf pans rather than a tube pan and give one to our new neighbors. I mean, let's be real, you can't give someone a pound cake and not know what it tastes like. What if it's awful? Or just too good to share? Well, let me tell you folks, it was scrumptious!

I started with all the necessary ingredients. I even bought BooMama's mama's favorite cake flour.

Then I started to mix the ingredients, in order of course.

Yes, I did eat the batter. And yes, it is YUMMY!

Put in the oven to bake and wait a sweet FOREVER!

And that my friends, is homemade pound cake. May I also suggest serving it warm with a scoop of Ben and Jerry's new Creme Brulee ice cream!
