I see London, I see France

I picked the wrong outfit today. I just did. And getting ready in the dark did not help.

I set out my clothes the night before in the guest room so that I don't wake my boys in the wee hours of the morning. So last night I grabbed a pair of dress pants from my closet. I have worn them once. Lacey bought them for me for Christmas last year. I threw them in the guest room with my shirt and walked away.

This morning I got to practice and realized the bottom of my pants needed ironed. Really badly. So I thought maybe if I walked fast no one would notice. Except me.

I left early to go home and change but got sidetracked. Ethan was supposed to wear his costume to school today. Needless to say, I forgot to change while dressing the chicken boy.

And NOW my pants have ripped. I don't get it. They are not to small. But when I sat down I heard something. It sounded like the zipper fell. No, no! They ripped. Right in the front! UGH!! Now I am stuck at work with ripped pants and I don't want to get up. And how awkward is it to say to your male boss, umm...I need to go home and change...my pants ripped. Because we all know if someone says their pants ripped people LOOK! Because it's FUNNY. Except when it's you!

And since we still only have one car, it's not like Brian can bring me a pair of pants. Pants without holes. BOO!

I guess in order to cheer myself up I'll have to make that pumpkin cake.
