Dollar Therapy

Some days a girl needs some good "dollar therapy" otherwise known as shopping. This type of therapy would be much better if I had a money tree but since I don't I decided to go browsing. Sometimes browsing is enough. Other times it makes you feel you need to repeat a verse about coveting over and over until the feeling passes.

My first stop was the Barn of Pottery. They have lovely things...for people with money trees. And no children who breaks things because they are wild and crazy and think they are Spiderman. Or SHpiderman as Ethan calls him. So, I quickly left the site of the Barn and went to the Barn KIDS. At least the items there are kid friendly. Which most of us know is a MUST.
Here is what I found:

I thought this centerpiece was very cute. But not worth $50. So, I'm going to make it. Myself. Can't be that hard, right?

These were next. BOAT napkin holders. I just liked them because I've always been fond of the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria. Truly. This little guy completely threw me. It's a fake pumpkin. The actual name of it is "Wide Pumpkin". He is $99.00. Let me just say...for $99.00 I could buy a real pumpkin for the next 20 years and have the seeds when I'm done. Then I found the Christmas section. I have a teeny thing for stockings. Not sure why. But every year I look for a new one and never buy. I think this is the year. I'm going to get a NEW stocking. With my NAME. Do you think they make this in my size? Because I would totally rock that apron.

And, what better time to where an apron than when hosting a party and using this chips and dip set. Love it. You can find it at Target.
Along with these. You can be the lucky owner of the 12 piece set for $40.

Or the owner of this 16 piece set for $20. I mean, I know they don't have the snowman but I love red. And I could use these all year. They match my kitchen. AND they would look beautiful in my hutch.

My therapy session has definitely helped.
