My favorite things

Deborah and her sister, Beth, are in full Christmas mode. While I do love them, let me just say...THANKSGIVING has yet to be had. And I love Thanksgiving. BUT, because I would hate to ruin the toosoonChristmasspirit, I'm copying Deborah's favorites list, adding some and giving my answers.

Come on ya'll. Play along.

Favorite Christmas snack: peppermint bark or white chocolate covered cashew clusters

Favorite Christmas beverage: hot apple cider

Favorite Christmas smell: cranberry...I burn alot of cranberry candles during the holidays

Favorite Christmas activity: driving around to look at lights

Favorite Christmas memory: This one is a toss up. Christmas 2000 was the day Brian proposed. For that reason it will always be special. But I think the memory that just makes me grin was last year. Ethan still didn't understand Christmas. Santa brought him a big red wagon. The look on his face as he turned the corner from the hall I will never forget. His face lit up and he grinned.

Favorite Christmas traditons: Each year, we each pick out one new ornament. It is our own special ornament that gets placed on the tree. Brian and I started this tradition a few years ago. We take a family trip to as many stores as it takes to find the perfect ornament. I have a feeling there will be a Spiderman added to the collection this year. I wonder how he'll get along with Darth Vader? Hmmm...

What are your favorites?
