The stockings weren't hung by the chimney with care

Thanksgiving has come and gone now Christmas is in full swing...at least for me. My tree is trimmed though the stocking are not hung. My poor Santa stocking has seen better days. I pulled it out of the closet along with Brian and Ethan's stockings. I looked down and saw that somehow the cat had managed to lay on my stocking to leave his fuzzy fur behind. As I looked closer I realized it wasn't cat, but Santa's hair. Poor Santa. His long white locks are shedding. I explained to Brian that I would now need a new stocking. He quickly looked at me and said, "You mean in all your craftiness you can't fix Santa's hair?" Dang him. I just want a new stocking. With stripes. From Pottery Barn. With my name. Like this...

So, I have not hung the stockings. And I may not. Just kidding. I will...eventually. After I make Santa's wig.
I am impatiently waiting for our family trip to pick out ornaments. I am really torn between one I found at Wal-Mart and the MANY I found at Old Time Pottery. I have been invited to two ornament exchanges this year which excites me. Maybe I'll buy my top 3 ornament picks and give 2 as gift at the ornament exhanges.
