I just got a call from Miss Paula. She is the coordinator of the Mother's Day Out program Ethan attends. She asked if Ethan could move up to the next class room.
My first question was, "Does he beat up on the other kids?"
I know that sounds like an absurd question. Ethan is generally a very well behaved boy. But do you see that word. The BOY word. He is ALL boy.
He also stands about 5 inches taller than ALL of the children in his class.
Miss Paula quickly answered, "NO! Of course not." The older class does more activities and they have more of a structured learning time.
My next question was, "Will anyone else move with him?"
This question is of HIGH importance. You see, Ethan has a little girlfriend, Jacey. Or as he says, "I wike Jacey!" And she likes him too. In fact, this Christmas Santa brought her a new doll. Guess what she named her doll.
Ethan.
Miss Paula said that E and J will move up together which made my decision easy. Yes! Move him up.
My baby is getting so big. Now if we could just figure out that darned potty-training!

After our dinner conversation the other night, potty training might be necessary for a few other as well! ;) Don't forget to teach him to wipe the rim! Hahaha!
P.S. I linked to your blog so now I can get all the latest and greatest!
I was actually thinking about that this morning. Oh- that conversation left me with so much insight. Wiping the rim will be the first thing he learns...after actually USING the toilet of course.
Hey, maybe we'll be tackling potty training together... me and my puppy, you and Ethan! We'll see which is easier.
this is jessie, deb's sister in law with the 2 1/2 year old girl. do you do as much laundry as i do? with all the "accidents" on the floor and on laundry?? lololo. potty training IS very hard. glad to know there is others out there that share my pain.
