I can't see clearly now the paint is on

My office is smack dab in the middle of a complete makeover. It has been long over due. Linda have been leasing this space for about...forever. Okay- forever is exaggerating but she has been in the same office for 23 years. The gray paint has stayed the same. The gray carpet has stayed the same. Until now. I'd like to think I had a hand in making the much needed change happen. I mean, it was my idea to have her beloved son tell her, "Mom, this place really needs an update!"

Paint colors and carpet were chosen. Painters started last week. Left for a few days. Then returned last night.

My desk is piled high with crap that's been here for 23 years. And I can't concentrate. So I decided to blog instead.

I think I may reagrrange my desk today. Because as long as everything in the center of the room has to be moved back I might as well move it back where I want it.

We leave for competition in Dallas tomorrow! I am really excited. Next Thursday we leave for DISNEY WORLD!
