Tasty Tuesday: Lasagna

Welcome to Tasty Tuesday!

Each Tuesday I will post a new recipe. It may be a main dish, side or dessert. Feel free to post a recipe yourself!

Lauren's Lasagna

1 large jar Ragu (I use Ragu Tomato, Onion and Garlic)
1 lb. hamburger meat
1/8 c. brown sugar
1 box lasagna
2 cups shredded mozzarella
8 oz. ricotta cheese
4 oz. sour cream
2 eggs, beaten
4 T. chopped parsley

Preheat oven to 350*

Brown hamburger meat, drain grease. Add jar of Ragu. Sprinkle in brown sugar and stir. Allow to simmer.

Boil lasagna noodles as directed. While the noodles boil, mix ricotta, sour cream, eggs and parsley. Drain noodles and rinse in cold water. Place noodles on wax paper or foil to dry off.

Begin layering in a greased 9x13 baking dish.

1st layer: a little bit of sauce- to keep the noodles from sticking to the pan
2nd layer: noodles, allow noodles to overlap slightly
3rd layer: 1/3 ricotta cheese mixture, spread evenly
4th layer: 1/3 shredded mozzarella
5th layer: 1/3 sauce

Repeat two more times. Your last layer will be sauce.

Bake at 350* for 45-50 minutes. Allow to set-up for 10-15 minutes before serving.

VIOLA!
