Dearest Drama, How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways.

Have you noticed that boys do not have the drama in their lives that girls do?

Drama starts early in childhood as a little girl and I'm not sure it ever stops. I was truly hoping once I finished high school there would be no more drama.

I've seen the difference in little boys and girls and how they handle their drama. Little Johnny pushes Sammy who either 1. pushes him back or 2. tells on him, Johnny apologizes and they go on their merry way together. Little girls are completely different. Shelby pulls Emily's hair who cries at the sight of Shelby for the rest of the day. And still the next day, after a night's sleep, tells everyone how Shelby pulled her hair.

High school drama is that times one million. Because I work so closely with girls that age I see alot of drama. A. LOT. In fact, the current drama is bewildering to me. Sadly, it's a scene right out of the movie Mean Girls.

The worst part is it will continue. I'm supposed to fix this situation but it will only be temporary because tomorrow will be a new drama. There will always be "girl drama" no matter how old we are and it stinks. Even now as adults, it still isn't any better.

So Drama- to you I say, "BITE ME!"

Amen, Sista! That was probably my least favorite part of teaching 7th grade, and believe me, there was a lot not to like. Oh well.
