Clearly I have been busy the last week since I have posted NOTHING.
Even though I've had things to post.
My sister asked me what I was posting today for Tasty Tuesday but I really don't feel like posting a recipe.
You see, I am currently fasting. I haven't had anything but water or juice today. It's part of our current series at church, One Prayer. Today's fasting focus is: Salvations.
In reading about fasting online I found this suggestion:
Prepare yourself for temporary mental discomforts, such as impatience, crankiness, and anxiety.
Which has absolutely nothing to do with what I should be focusing on...I do realize that.

I feel your pain. Although my hunger is not for a reason quite as noble as yours (I'm trying to drop all my extra pounds), I too am suffering from lack of food. Well, not lack of food per say, but lack of GOOD food for sure. The diet I am on is working wonders, but it is limiting me to an 800 calorie a day diet. To add insult to injury, I can't have butter (yum), sugar (yum, yum) or anything else that is bad for me. Plus, I have to drink LOTS of water. Oh well, at least I'm getting some much needed results. I'm down 12 pounds in two weeks. Whoo Hoo!
