Crazy

This week is Jenks week. It may mean nothing to you but for me it means alot of crazy. Jenks week promises crazy every year. It is crazy for several reasons.

1. It means two performance in one half-time. It doesn't seem like that big of deal. But half-time? It's not that long.

2. It means it's the first home game of the season. The Highstepper debut under new direction. Mine. It's a little nerve racking.

(The girls will be fantastic- they have been all week. They are ready. I should be ready. I am. Just nervous.)

3. It means one of the 2 routines is a combined performance with cheer and pom. It will be great but I will be glad to have it behind us. No more combined practices.

4. The girls attention span is shortening as the week closes in on Friday. They love this game.

(Me? Not so much. We lose everytime I go. So- Tina- I'm sorry. I have to be there this year. You might want to apologize to your hubby for me too.)

5. The crowd will be massive. We'll be at Tuttle, not Skelly. People. Will. Be. Everywhere.

6. It's supposed to rain. Alot.

7. It means I'll sit on edge the whole game with butterflies for my brother-in-law and the other boys I don't know because if one thing is certain it's that this game is never short of crazy. Back and forth, up and down.

And, on top of all the crazy I still have a cold. Although I do believe my man voice is gone. That's a plus.
