As I was driving to pick-up Ethan before voting I saw two women holding Obama-Biden posters on the side of the highway. Another driver saw them, honked and gave them a thumbs up. I thought about running them over. Literally. But I didn't.
(Now my mom is saying LAUREN?! I can't believe you just said that. Lacey is still trying to convince herself she made the right decision. And Lindsay is somewhere in the Ozarks thinking she can't believe her sister is voting for McCain.)
I was number 1516 to vote at my polling place this afternoon at 3:40.
I also received the very last "I Voted" sticker. Although, I'm pretty sure had the old ladies passing them out not been wearing so many- MAYBE- a few others could have had one too.
Now I am home, watching Behind Enemy Lines. Because it is a great movie. And makes me feel proud of our men in uniform. Like McCain.
Tonight we are going to an Election party at Joe and Rachel's. It's an American potluck. Brian wants to take Hooters wings. What's more American?
