Snow Days

We had a lot of fun in the snow yesterday.

Ethan and Wiley, our neighbor, went sledding yesterday afternoon. We attempted it first at Wiley's house. After a few failed attempts we moved onto to our house. We quickly found that our other neighbor had the best driveway for "Laundry Basket Sledding 2009".

Wiley and Ethan had such a great time. They were both crammed in the basket, tight as could be, but didn't care.

Brian did a majority of the pushing. At one point Greg, Wiley's dad, gave it a shot only to make them tip over and fall out. Fortuantely, neither of them were hurt and Brian resumed his pushing job.

In fact, at one point Brian ran in the house and Greg walked over to them to push. Wiley hopped out of the basket so fast and said, "No Daddy! Not you. You don't push us!" I think he may be scarred.

And for the record, going down backwards is much faster! (I think it's because Ethan was in the back and weighs more! HA!)

(Disclaimer: In the first video, at the end, you begin to hear Greg talked of his great plan- to tie the basket to his Trailblazer and drive around the neighborhood. We didn't. And he was joking.)
