Over the past week I managed to...
- have the carpets cleaned
- set-up Emma's crib (which was a challenge considering I lost the directions)
- wash all her bedding and blankets
- wash all the newborn clothing I have thus far
- move Emma's Crib
- move it again
- hang the mobile
- contemplate many times how on earth the changing table can be moved from Ethan's room to Emma's without being taken apart (At this point I'm considering leaving it in Ethan's room and just changing her in there when need be.)
- reorganize Emma's closet (pictures will follow- it really was a miraculous transformation. Inspired by Zum's Closet Clean Out '09)
- have a little garage sale to get rid of things we don't need nor have room for
Still on my TO DO list:
- Buy a car seat and stroller
- replace the blinds in Emma's room
- find curtains
- hang the wall decorations
- get a dresser for Ethan and actually move the changing table
- fix the light in Emma's closet (the chain no longer pulls)
And I think that's about it.
On another baby note, I had maternity photos done last night, courtesy of Cheri. It was so much fun! I didn't have them done with Ethan and have regret it so Brian and I knew we wanted them with Emma. I did most of the shots alone or just my tummy, a few with Ethan, some with Brian, and some of all of us together. I can't wait to see them!
Happy Wednesday!
Here are the closet before and afters.

Looks great! I meant to tell you, my dad's neighborhood (off of 71st & Garnett) has a HUGE garage sale every May. This year it's the 16th. If you want to put your things it that sale, I can almost guarantee they will sell.
Good to know!
Hey - can't believe your daughter could be here in the next week or two! I love the paint in her room (it looks great, worth all the hard work!) and I would say if you miraculously find the time, hang the stuff on her walls. Can I tell you that N & K are 4 months old, and I still have stuff to be hung up in their nursery?!?! Ugh! I look at it and think maybe today it will get hung... but no. Once it does, I will post pics of their yet unseen nursery. Hope our kiddos can play together soon. Love to you!
