Has anyone ever told you that you look like the Cosby sisters?

I had the CRAZIEST dream last night. It was so vivid and so real but so bizarre. You probably ought to also know that I have seen "The Bourne Identity" and "The Bourne Supremacy" way too many times.

It started (or the first thing I remember) was Brian and I on a train. The train pulled into the airport- got that? and we deboarded. Brian had apparently seen someone who looked like a cop because he pulled out a ballcap, threw it on his head and went running. Very similar to a "Jason Bourne" move. I waved good-bye, like it was normal for us to be getting off a train with no baby and him running from police, and then my dad showed up.

Dad and I walked/ran through the parking garage to find his car. His car was the tiniest thing ever. Definitely foreign. His knees were up in the dashboard as he drove. It had to have been a new airport or new to us because we couldn't find our way out. I was still thinking about Brian and him running from the police when a lion showed up in the middle of the road. It stood as tall as the my dad's car. I haven't figured out why the airport/train station had a lion, in a cage, with a trainer. Hmmm...

The next thing I remember was the dream morphing into another chase scene. This time it was my sister Lindsay being chased. The dream went through several years span. The younger years are blurred.

I remember being at my mom and dad's current house. Lacey and I were making some sort of drink, probably sweet tea, and there was a mouse in the pitcher. Lacey's cat then swallowed the mouse whole enlarging it's own stomach to mouse size and shape. I immediately put the cat outside so the mouse could get out. Once I was outside I saw cars parked out front. Logically, this could only mean one thing...they are after Lindsay. Wait! These are her friends, trying to help her escape. I created a plan, much like the one from Harry Potter. Lacey and I dressed like Lindsay. (Like my boobs and Lacey's giantness could pass for Lindsay, not to mention we don't have dreads.) We all dress in a yellow tank top, black pants and jackets with big sunglasses. I hoped no one would notice my tank top outlined in white and not black.

We each jumped in a different black Escalade and went to the bank. We needed all the money we had for our life on the run. While at the bank we learned our parents had seperate funds for each of us. Oddly, I was logically thinking what I would do with that sum of money in my name. I knew perfectly well I would fix my car, pay on a credit card and save the rest. Bizzare that I was still sitting in the bank dressed like a bee but thinking logically.

I remember looking at Lindsay and Lacey and wondering why they looked African American. Odd. Then the banker said, "Has anyone ever told you that you look like the Cosby sisters?"

HA! Then I woke up. I told you. Crazy. Bizarre.

My Dad

I love my dad. He makes me smile.

My mom has been out of town for two weeks. She left two Sundays ago for youth camp. Because she is the senior pastor's assistant and he goes to camp, so does Mom. She arrived home late late that Thursday. Dad was very glad to have her home. That Friday, I dropped Ethan off at their house and asked Mom when she left for Michigan (for my cousin's graduation). She replied, "Sunday at 7:30 and I'm gone all week."

Needless to say, my dad was not ready for Mom to leave again. But she did. Now she is in Chicago and due arrive home late tomorrow night. Dad couldn't wait. He called me last night to see if I could find him a flight to Chicago. He was going to go to the rest of the conference with Mom and the group she is with from church.

I got online and found a ticket for him. Purchased it. Emailed him a confirmation. Then I called to say, "You might want to call Lacey and tell her to come home to help you get check-in." But he thought he would try.

My dad hates computers. He does not hate many things. Computers he does. He signed on and then called me to walk him through the process. I'm trying to say-okay dad, look at the top of the screen. There's box. Type www....

So, he finally got to the website but couldn't check-in. After 10 minutes of trying to choose a seat I finally told him just to go to the ticket counter in the morning. So he did. I think he was just so excited to go see my mom that it no longer mattered how he got checked in.

As we were on the phone, Brian said, "Wish I were going." To which I replied, "It's a 12 hour drive back!" And my dad said, "Yeah, but I'm with Mom."

I love my dad.
