A few random things...

Good morning! I am feeling pretty good today. I didn't sleep well last night and spent a lot of time praying I wouldn't feel crappy. Thank you Lord for answering prayer even if I am a little jittery. Which may or may not be the cold medicine.

I spilled my tea all over me on the way to work and now my pants are wet. AND. My shirt. AND. When I grabbed the napkins in my car to wipe myself off they shed all over me. The day I choose to wear a black shirt and dark denim jeans I get covered in napkin fuzz.

I put a poll up to ask people their opinion of middle names. So far 11 people have voted. I am very impressed because I was hoping at least 4 would vote. I wish it told me who voted for what. In case your new here, I'm nosy.

I also did the same poll online at babycenter.com. The same name is winning.

We have competition Saturday. It will be the first time to get our jazz on the floor. I'm terrified. Don't tell the girls. They'll be great. I just had this dream that it was a disaster and we were in yellow and NO ONE KNEW THE DANCE. But it will be fine.

I am so ready for Thanksgiving!

And my first trimester to be OVER.

I can't believe Halloween is Friday. Ethan is going to be Spiderman- big shocker!

I've been so sick we haven't even bought pumpkins. It's a very sad day my friends. Especially if you new how much I love pumpkins.

That's enough rambling. Happy Tuesday!

A post! Not really.

I have too many things going on in my head to form anything that remotely resembles a sentence. Which is why I am so ready for vacation on Sunday. One week. In Vegas. Can't wait.

We are still lacking a few music selections for the year. Camp starts on the 29th. Trying not to freak out.

The week after camp starts back to school pratices everyday for 2 performances. First performances of the year, as a team, under my co-direction. That's a little nerve racking.

Still looking for flights for a choreographer. Flights are so expensive. Hoping to stay in the budget.

Have to pack for a 7 day vacation for me and the boy. The laundry must be done prior to packing. It's supposed to be over 100 degrees each day while we are there. Not to mention
traveling with a 2 1/2 year old.

Waiting for two babies to be born. Both due while I'm gone. Both I can't wait to see.

Things at work are crazy. I'm trying to get everything finished for this week and next and the following because I'll be on vacation and then at camp.

Okay. I think I'm good now. Just had to get those thoughts out of my head and see them. Now I can work on them.

Reasons I love the 4th of July!

(in no particular order)

1. Fireworks
2. Not working
3. AMC's JAWS marathon
4. Watching Ethan watch fireworks
5. Spending time with family and friends
6. Fireworks
7. Eating hot dogs and drinking a coke
8. Making homeade ice cream (my grandma used to make it when we spent summers with her)
9. Wearing matching 4th of July t-shirts...the one day of the year I match my husband without feeling like a moron
10. Fireworks

Happy Independence Day!

Really?

There is a particularly busy intersection in town where you can find a particular homeless man. It's his corner. I've heard him say it. I've seen him fight with other men when they have simply walked by his corner.

The first few times I saw him I pitied him. How did he end up there? I drove past and felt a tiny bit of guilt for not helping him.

(Side note: I am skeptical of people and not always trusting. AND I would never stop to help a strange man while I am alone in my car or just me and Ethan. Because I am skeptical and do not always trust people. Like I just said.)

Then one day I saw him fighting with a man, being awful to him, and I pitied him less. Because he was mean. And I still felt bad.

Last Tuesday, I pulled into Braum's to pick up some ice cream on my way home from a meeting. Who do I see? The same homeless man sitting on the curb, talking on HIS CELL PHONE and counting his WAD of cash.

What's your reaction?

I'm just sayin'

If you have a mom in your life and you don't know what to get her for this weekend's holiday...maybe one of these would be nice.

I'm just sayin'.
