Duh Duh Duh Duh- Duh Duh Duh Duh- Near Near Near

My conversation with Brian last night while watching the end of "8 Seconds", which I clearly have not seen before.

Me: Luke Parry's character DIES?!

Brian: Uh- yeah- he died in real life!

Me: LUKE PERRY DIED???

Brian: NO! The character he is playing died in real life.

Me: This is a true story? Well, I'm glad I never sat down to actually watch it. Gah.

Friends, I cannot tell you how long my heart stopped when I thought Luke Perry was dead.

Some of you (Cheri) may remember PO5 (Party of Five) and 90210 nights in high school and how I may have been a tad, wee bit, obsessed. It was a blissul night full of Matthew Fox and Luke Perry.

It took me 3 months to watch the final episode of 90210 because I didn't think I could actually bear to watch it. And when I did I sobbed like a baby.

(Of course, I think there were some underlying issues. You know how the end of 90210 symbolized the end of my high school years and friendships lost. But that is a WHOLE other story...)

I don't know if you've seen previews but CW is recreating 90210. Part of me wants to watch but then there's the other part that knows no one will trump Dylan and Kelly.

All that to say, I am so relieved to find out that Luke Perry is in fact NOT DEAD.

All the reading doesn't help the fact that I am still lost

I found a new favorite website...

LOSTPEDIA

Brian and I have watched Lost on and off since it began but it was until this season we really got into it. I can usually figure out what is going on but sometimes I am completely confused.

(I would have said lost but that was just too corny.)

This is my answer to all the questions I've had!

Thunder Shmunder

Yesterday we went to the airport to greet the Little's. They were finally able to bring their precious boy home.

We left to go eat dinner then headed home. I planned to plop on the couch and watch all my Thursday show I DVR.

But this is what I saw when I tried to watch The Office:

Then I decided to watch Grey's. The entire hour was filled with this:

I watched about half of Ugly Betty before the weathermen appeared and refused to leave.

Channel 8 had this to say-

Many of you are asking about Thursday night's programming that was pre-empted because of the coverage of tornadoes across central and eastern Oklahoma.

NewsChannel 8 will contact ABC about rescheduling the programming that was missed. We will have the rebroadcast information on our website and will provide the information on our newscasts once that is determined.

You can also watch episodes for free online the day after their broadcast. Just visit http://www.ktul.com/abc/videoplayer.

So, I guess my weekend will entail watching hours of TV online...with no fast forwarding through commercials. BOO.

Reunited and it feels so good

Can I just say it was so nice to see my friends last night. I haven't seen them in ages and it was such a treat to get to spend an hour with Mer and Der. I just love those two kids!

Tonight, I will be catching up with Betty. She's been gone as long as Mer and Der. Oh where has the time gone?
