Age 3: The Year of Never Ending Questions

On the day Ethan turned two the Terrible Two's made their appearance known. Now that he's 3 it's 20 Questions!

The following is just an example.

(In the car last night after leaving our house. Aunt Lacey had been with us and left at the same time)

E: Where's Lacey?

Me: In the red car in front of us.

Why is her in front of us?

Because she left the house first.

Why did her leave the house first?

Because she was parked behind us.

Where is her going?

To Mimi's house with us.

Why are we going to Mimi's?

To take her soup.

Why are we taking her soup?

Because she doesn't feel good.

Why her not feel good?

Because her feelings are hurt.

Why her feeling are hurt?

Well, somebody said something to her that wasn't very nice.

WHO SAID THAT?

(Insert Name)

Why he say that?

Well, I don't know.

Where's Uncle Mitch?

Playing golf.

Why is Uncle Mitch playing golf?

Because he likes it. It's fun.

Why is golf fun?

Because golf is a sport and sports are fun.

Why is golf a sport?

Because God made golf a sport.

Why did God make it a sport?

Because God made everything.

Why did Good make everything?

Because He's God.

Oh.

He Paused.

I get it!

Talk about 20 Questions..give or take a few. I just laughed. And whether or not you find it as funny as we did I needed to remember this one.
