Goodbye 2008, Hello 2009!

It's hard to believe 2008 has come to an end. Here are some highlights, good and not so good, from my 2008.

  • In January I started working the Highsteppers. I never thought I would. It was busy, stressful, time-consuming but oh so fun.
  • We met our friends in Vegas to celebrate Jeff's 30th birthday.
  • I saw my first Cirque De Soleil show- AWESOME!
  • Went to Disneyworld- Ethan's 1st trip and Nationals with Highsteppers. Great, great memories!
  • My wonderful, loving and beautiful grandma went to meet Jesus. I bet she's having a great time with Him. I miss her everyday.
  • I was officially hired as the Co-Director of the Highsteppers. The move up has been great and I love the girls dearly.
  • My sister told me I was going to be an aunt.
  • Went back to Vegas only this time with family. We love Las Vegas and I got to eat In 'N Out 3 times in one year. That really deserves it's own bullet!
  • I found out I was pregnant with our 2nd child.
  • Ethan turned 3! Not sure if this should be a good or bad highlight. Depends on the day.
  • Ethan went to his first circus.
  • Mom and I went to see So You Think You Can Dance tour.
  • We paid off my car!
  • We traveled to the Ozarks to see Lindsay for Thanskgiving.
  • I watched Ethan sing in his first Christmas program.
  • Brian took me to see the Rockettes which I loved.
  • We found out that we are having a girl! I am thrilled to pieces. This may actually be the highlight of my year.
  • My nephew was born, December 28, 2008.
  • Today I am meeting Oakley for the first time.

So those are my highlights. What are yours?
